I would seriously recommend looking at the system you are using, the setting, the theme or mood you want to create, and the player dynamics, then making your own list of connection questions. Some groups really go with “why did you leave me bleeding in a ditch?” and “who helped me kill a person?” and “I think your PC is a threat to the security of the operation” and “Which of you is secretly in love with me?” and some groups are just not in that space.

Sean Britcher I hope it helps! If you have two PbtA books handy, you can check those and it should point you in the right direction as to how to format the questions so you get good backstory stuff.
Meguey Baker I have Urban Shadows, Monsterhearts, and Circles of Power. Probably ought to pick up Apocalypse World classic as the game I’m looking to adapt this to is Red Markets.
