Alright, I need to try running this game again now that I can use the whole book as a reference.

So, I’m planning on having 3-4 players in 3-4 hour sessions of Masks for an undetermined campaign length (hopefully at least 10). The game would either be on Tuesdays or Thursdays, at more or less any reasonable waking time. I’m thinking Thursdays around 12 PM Central Time, but could start as late as 8 PM Central Time. The only playbooks immediately not on offer are the Delinquent and the Doomed.

I’m seeking some players who are primarily interested in grand, cartoonish, dramatic interaction with the fiction. High tolerance for the potentially silly is a must, as the “Tales to Astonish” section of the book essentially points out. Some darker moments will occasionally arise, but I’m looking to keep this campaign pretty light-hearted.

Let me know if you’re interested as well as when you’re available on those days.

  3. (I’m free either of those days, but would prefer Thursday for game spacing. Waiting on word back about summer classes before I can give a solid start time, but I’d be free by eight regardless.)

  6. Oh god i finally figured out how to comment. I am interested both those days could work for me. I technically have a character made from a short game i played while another player was on vacation but hes doomed so would have to change that. Edit: Also yeah anytime works (im est btw) Edit 2: That said i would prefer later in the day.

  8. James Etheridge Yes sir! I’m allowing all of those because so far I don’t know how they play in practice. Whether they end up working well or poorly, I’ll know some of their issues/genius for next time.

  9. Interested, and available for the next 8 weeks. Love to play a Beacon or a Janus. Thursday is better than Tuesday, and later, like 6, is better than earlier. I might be able to switch things around, though.

  16. David Mcelhinny It should be the first conversation when you click on the conversation tab under the contacts tab. What do you normally use to communicate with people online? Does Skype or Discord work for you? If so, what usernames should I search for?

    As for Playbooks….The Innocent or Bull got my interest the most, but up for experimenting with the other ones if they are taken

  20. Lian Rowan If you reply to this comment in the next 3 and 1/2 hours and are capable of joining us for character creation/play in 4ish hours, you’re welcome to join us. We just had a late drop out due to health concerns.
