Picked up the Cascade quickstart – the flavor in this game is phenomenal! Re-reading to get the rules in my head; this is very different from my usual jam.
Rules question – flashbacks: says to take the highest die from the roll and subtract it from the lower one, add that many emotion spikes. Which would result in a negative? Is that backwards, or am I missing something?
Mmm I think that’s right, or am I crazy? You take the highest die and subtract it from the lowest so it should always be positive. Or did I word it incorrectly? If you rolled a 6 and a 2, you would get a 4 and add that many spikes to the state you rolled with.

Agreed: Should be: “subtract the lowest from the highest”. Or just “Take the difference between the two dice”.
