Can anybody tell me, who the Immortals are? According to the rulebook, Power consists of Wizards and “the immortals”. Are Oracles and Hallowed considered immortals?

Immortals were once in an older version of US, but didn’t make it to print.
Woah, 2014, going back a bit. So, they were of Power, strong in Heart but weak in Wild, and wouldn’t stay dead if killed. Default gear was a luxury home and trappings of wealth. Here’s the intro text:
“There are some who have been cursed by the gods or blessed by the oracles to walk this earth knowing neither disease, aging, or true death. They are immortals, and they will never know what it is to truly live because they can never truly die.”
Sounds like There can be only one… (que Queen intro for Highlander)
I think you can get the playbook in Dark Streets?
Eadwin Tomlinson Sune Nødskou it did not make it in Dark Streets neither.
There was a beta for backers so and some of those playbooks are now in dark streets
Maybe the will be in a next expansion
Then I better understand my own confusion. The rulebook talks of an archetype, that isn’t included – not even in the expansion (which I also own). 🙂
You can also just have immortal beings who exist as part of Power… But are not an archetype to play.
Sune Nødskou I think the dragon is also still missing in his final version
I found a document floating around on the internet with all the missing Archetypes. Know that I know them, I don’t think they will make it to my new campaign set in Bellingham, WA.
I find it really annoying that those two archetypes didn’t make the final version, since they were some of my table favorites back in playtest time. Worse, I can’t find it anywhere, and the only archives I used to have were on my old pc.
Just received an updated Dark Streets document, but still no new Archetypes. 🙂
The Dragon, The Immortal, and The Angel are all coming some vague time later.
Which is a shame, because they’re the three I’m most looking forward to.
Take a look at this file, that I found.
drive.google.com – Archetype v1.1.pdf – Google Drev
That’s a very, very old playtest, and many of the Moves from it were repurposed into other modern Playbooks.
Even if the Dragon playbook never comes out (fingers crossed cause i want to play one so hard), I plan to have one as an NPC in my game. Its hoard is first editions of books and first pressings of Vinyl records. It also is the current possessor of a PARTICULAR record that is an artifact that acts as an oracle/seer.
