It went really well. About an hour, maybe 1.5 hrs for the 3 players to make characters. We had an Outsider, a Legacy, and a Doomed.
It was very easy to incorporate the Legacy’s storyline, but the Outsider’s people didn’t know where she went – and want to bring her back, and the Doomed was being subtly worked into the story line.
We played for 4-ish hours after characters/food/chat/breaks. I need to do a bit of a better job steering the story as two of the players are newer, and didn’t suggest or even drive scenes. It was the traditional gamer mentality where you lean back in the chair as the adventure comes to you vs. the indie thinking of going to get it – and drive it towards what you want.
I very much enjoyed the system, and for the oddball things (I want to hack this computer to look up so-and-so’s records), we made judgement calls – including player-suggested calls – which was great.
Looking forward to playing again.
