3. I think of it as doing something that doesn’t require much strain or effort. Binge watch anime while eating a pint of ice cream. Lay in bed all day with a puppy. Go dancing all night. Things that the equivalent of telling the world “I don’t care right now.”

4. It means the character has to blow off steam by doing something fun with no practical benefit whatsoever.

6. Get laid, get drunk, generally blowing off steam.

7. In my character’s case, it usually ends up with a brawl in an alley. 😉
