Hi all – and I guess especially Mark Diaz Truman! I am finally MCing my own Urban Shadows game, and I’m looking to see if there are versions of the playbooks resized for A4? I had a search here in the community and there were a few posts mentioning this from last year, and as it’s really hard to get US paper sizes here in Australia, I’m hoping there’s been some movement on that!
Thanks all. Looking forward to posting here more now I’m finally getting a game in!
We haven’t done them in A4 yet. Sorry!

Thanks for letting me know, Mark! I figured it wasn’t a high priority. I’ll see what I can work out, I love the gatefold design so hopefully I can size them right so they’re readable and foldable. 🙂

In college I worked in a copy shop and whenever we ran out of 8.5×11, we would just run the copies along one edge of the A4 and just trim it down to 8.5×11 afterwards.

Here’s a comment I posted about a year ago with the same question! Experimented a bit, and got stuff that looked decent eventually:
“I have to fiddle with the scale of printing – printing it “borderless” works well enough and at least brings the right and left of the playbooks within about half an inch of the right and left edges of the paper, but the format means that there’s still about an inch of white space at the top and bottom of the pages.
My printer also has confusing duplex/double-sided printing options which seems to want to print the second side of each playbook flipped 180° from the first.
I’ve got the Aware printed out 4 times now trying to get the settings right!”
