VIOLENCE MOVES

This is the second post in the series analysing my very personal spin on a fantasy PbtA game.

As usual, here is the link to the full content posted on the Story-Games forum, for ease of exposition and discussion 🙂

  1. Why?

In the first case you are positioned.

For example, you go through a line of defenders.

In the second case the target is positioned.

For example, you move the cultist away from the altar.

  2. “- take or keep clear hold of some thing/person/position”

    already manages both

    – force your way into the opponent’s position/guard

    – force the opponent towards a position of your choosing

  3. In theory, yes.

In practice, I’ve seen it used that way only rarely and with great awkwardness.

And instead when the “redundant” options are on the table they get plenty of use.

I’m the first to be wary of lists, but sometimes they just do the job 😛
