I’m creating a Persona hack out of the Monster of the Week ruleset and would love some thoughts and advice. I’m already creating a custom class system where players pick both a High School Archetype (for stats and general moves) and an Arcana (for background questions and Persona abilities).

What do you guys think? How else can I make an effective Persona tabletop?

  1. Michael Sands Persona is a series of videogames. By day teenagers go through their high school lives. But they also manage double-lives where they go into an otherwordly realm, summon Stand-like spirits called Personas, and fight monsters.

  2. Roger Eberhart Oh man, I never heard of City of Mist before now. The system looks like it has balancing superpowers and mundane life stuff built right into the system! Might be a lot better than Monster of the Week for a Persona hack.
