It says that to calculate your bond threshold, you add the number of other PC to the number of points you get for how well you fit in. (Page 89). It also says you automatically take a bond with both “The City” and “Law Enforcement”. Does that mean you automatically get 1 point in each, or do you have to spend from your remaining points to have any?

  1. Tim Osburn I’m putting a pin in this thread. If you don’t comment on a thread that interests you, unless you are the original poster, you won’t get notified if someone comments in the post. I put a pin in it because I want to see what others say. I just prefer the pin to using a period.

  2. The maximum positive Bonds you can have is the number of other PC players + the number from the chart on page 89.

Your bonds with The City and Law Enforcement require points to be spent on them if you want them to be positive.

Bonds at 0 or negative numbers do not count toward your bond threshold, but are important to the fiction.

  3. Yup. If you’re going to be a vigilante, the City will soon know about you, and so will Law Enforcement. If those bonds go negative, which is common for vigilantes working outside the legal system, it could make your job harder. If they go positive, you might have your own bat-signal when they feel like they need your help.
