  1. Not familiar with the setting you’re talking about, but all the PBTA stuff easily hacks. If you could get editable copies of the MOTW sheets they should be easily reworked. It’d be a fair amount of work I would guess. Or, you could just talk to your players and talk through it with them, then just give them pens to change things on their sheet (e.g. shotgun +2 becomes blunderbuss +2). That’s what I’d try first, since I’m lazy…

  2. J. Henning Thanks. Yeah, everything looks hackable and arrangeable. It’s just a matter of how best to do it. In Witch Hunter, a lot of your character is based around choosing an order (like a secret society). Plus, all the characters are to some degree Chosen and Initiates. So I wonder if it would be better to stick to archetypes or to build playbooks around the different societies.

  3. Tom Harrison you could give everyone the initiate’s Sect moves, as appropriate for their order. It might make the initiate a bit redundant, but the others would still be good.

    Setting non-specific historical hunter advice:

for gear, just swap for period equivalents (as J. Henning suggested)

if a move specifies contemporary stuff (e.g. computers, internet, cars), either ignore it or swap in some similar thing.
