Keep your table small. That way the conversational back and forth stays rapid fire
I would try a simple mystery to start, and get plenty of player input!
thanks everyone! It will be a rather simple mystery but will be focused in the town of Ely, MN and the monster will be a Wendigo. I’m rather excited. My group has 3 players who are experienced RPG players (as am I) but new to MotW.

Already saw that and I will be pulling some from it! Was considering a Wendigo and then saw your write up and was sold! I think I’m going have them first fight a guy who is mid transformation or freshly turned and then have to fight a much older one out in the national forest.
