Getting ready to host my first game of WWWRPG. One question I have is how many matches is reasonable to have on the card? I have four wrestlers/players and I am thinking to have them compete against each other in two singles matches, and maybe a tag team as well. How many additional NPW matches should I add to the card?

If by NPW matches you mean NPW vs NPW, the answer is none. If you’re talking about NPW vs PW, I’d say for a first session you’ve the card pretty much filled out. The whole point of the first session is to establish conflict to build further matches on. In fact with the two singles matches and the tag team match you’re about one match over the Episode 1 quickstart that comes with the play aids.
You can mention fully NPW matches if laying pipe for a rivalry or in case a PC wants to crash a match. Just mention the match and the results as needed.
Two singles and one tag match is about right for a single-session game, again with the caveat of showcasing NPWs that you have plans for down the line!
I had 4 guys once and it felt a bit quick so the next time we played, they had 2 characters each which opened up more avenues.
