  1. Probably something like Urban Shadows or Monster of the Week would be closest to my interests, but honestly, I’ll take anything that covers the core mechanics in common with most PbtA games.

  2. There are some videos on YouTube titled either “Dungeon World Basics” or “Discern Realities” they are short videos broken up into groups of similar moves being covered. (Though no actual play). It’s been a while since I’ve seen them, but they are pretty straightforward.

  3. Someone needs to make a Vlog series called “money moves” in which they do cut scenes between an actual play of a move, and the video GM offering insights and options on running that moved. One move per episode.

Applications of the base conflict resolution mechanics would be lovely. And examples of how those vary.

Basically a sort of practical demonstration of the most common rules and types of conflict/contest resolution with and without complications or situational modifiers.

So, PtbA for Dummies, I guess. =D

  5. So if I did like a 10 minute video that talked about how to implement an MC move (“Inflict Harm (as established)” with some examples of gameplay, that would be useful?

  6. Mark Diaz Truman It would be amazing.

It would basically split the middle ground between game text (which can be a bit dry) and Actual Play sessions, which require the kind of time investment that is hard to come by these days.

Thank you for even considering such a thing.
