Hi all.

Hi all.

Hi all. My group has tried running WWW for two sessions now, and are enjoying large parts of it – except the actual wrestling part…

We find the matches get a bit stale, with one side rolling a bit, then the other, then a finisher, and maybe a Heel stealing the win. It just feels a bit ‘by-the-numbers’. This could be because all the players are relatively inexperienced with Wrestling itself, but their descriptions are good enough.

What are we missing? How to make the actual wrestling parts of the Episode more interesting?

  1. While the stipulations help, watching wrestling would be the biggest boost you can get, for wrestling moves, how to sound and act, set-up of the stadium etc. Plus, there’s lots of wrestling programs and wrestling over the year for you to take your pick from (80’s wrestling, modern WWE, ROH, CZW, etc.)

  2. Adam Goldberg In char, for a title, or because of some on-screen wrong (wrestler A is shown as the bosses favorite, while wrestler B doesn’t like it; Love triangle, etc.). Out of char, that has a larger variety of reasons (Company is looking to outdo itself; two wrestlers are friends looking to bring out the best in each other; totally despise each other and want to kill each other for real, etc.).
