Hello,
My player want to add new update to their vessels, what should be a reasonable price ( how many cargo and of what level) to have it done. I don`t want it to be too low or to high either. I`d give it as a reward for a long quest but that doesn’t really interest them.
(I’m assuming you’re talking about FBH’s Vessel rules)
I’d say that each upgrade to a Vessel would be a significant Acquisition, on-par with a Class 2 vehicle at least. If they aren’t willing to work for it (do a job/repay Debt), then they’d best have a couple of Class 2 or Class 3 Cargo containers of goods to bump their Acquisition bonus and aim for that 13+ which will get them the Vessel module without extra hassle.
Note that a Vessel can only have so many upgrades before it goes up to the next Tier, which is a complete overhaul and may as well be considered an entirely new Vessel (worth ~10-15 Debt towards one or more Factions).
Yes I was talking about FBH Vessel Rules, also thanks for the suggestions, It helped a lot.
Sean Gomes here you are implying a debt economy. I have just left a table where I GMed my second session and when they accepted a mission for a faction only one character is trying to clear debt with them. So the others asked what kind of reward THEY could expect, and I had no idea…
What is a mission worth? A Class 2 asset? The possibility to aqcuire a Class 3 one?
And how exstensive is a mission to clear one debt?
Thanks!
