Do any of you incorporate music in your gaming sessions? Do You have a playlist? A certain composer? I ask because I’m right now listening to The Sorcerer’s Apprentice thinking how cool it would be to play in the back ground during some (or parts of some) sessions.

I think its a great way to set the mood, the Spirit of ’77 RPG actually includes 1970s soundtrack recommendations…

Make sure there’s no spoken lyrics and also make sure it isn’t something super recognizable.
I’m using DMDJ app for music and ambient. It’s all I need.
This is a bit circular, but after The Adventure Zone got me into Monster of the Week, I’ve enjoyed playing bits of TAZ music during my MotW sessions: soundcloud.com – griffinmcelroy
This works especially well if you use Google Hangout for your sessions, since you can use Chrome to Cast the audio from Soundcloud directly into a Hangout: https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/6320939?hl=en
This also works with audio from any other website (YouTube, for example).
My favorite TAZ piece is TAZ: Dust Theme, which I’ve played during the intro/recap for a few sessions; it captures the tone I’m aiming for perfectly!
