Nahual One-Shot with Mike Espinoza, Maria Rivera, Mark Diaz Truman and Warius
I’m very happy to announce something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time: Miguel Espinoza will run a game of Nahual for Maria Rivera, Mark Diaz Truman, Warius and me this next Sunday 28th of October at 15:30 Eastern (19:30 GMT+0) live on the twitch channel of Hijos del Rol. This will be in celebration of the launch (and success) of the Nahual kickstarter. And also because any excuse is good to bring so many cool people together. For those of you who don’t know some of them:
– Maria Rivera (@Thoobn): GauntletCon organiser
– Mark Diaz Truman (@trumonz): co-owner of Magpie games, co-founder of the Indie Game Development Network and game designer/co-designer of The Play’s The Thing, Our Last Best Hope, Urban Shadows, and Cartel.
– Warius (@elwarius): twitch partner, DM/Narrator and host of the #UnaPartidaMas D&D show.
– Mike Espinoza (@nahualrpg): Game Designer and layout artist for Nahual, he has also done layout work for Magpie games, John Wick Presents and Gallant Night Games among others.
And if by any chance you haven’t heard about it yet, Nahual is a tabletop roleplaying game of Mexican urban fantasy. In Nahual you play as shapeshifting nahuales that hunt angels to make a living. You run a changarro—a business—together and sell the angels you hunt as different types of products. Caught in the middle of an ancient feud, you struggle to find your place in a world of fantastical and overwhelming forces.
I can’t express of excited I am about this, and I hope you are as well. If you wanted to see how the game plays out, this is the perfect opportunity to discover it in the company of some excellent people and roleplayers (plus myself). I hope to see you all next Sunday and I would appreciate it a lot if you could share this around. Thanks!
