Hi everyone, has anybody tried to introduce Dungeon World-like magic items in MotW (items that usually have trivial effects or positive effects with drawbacks)?
I was going to just put some fluff around the character advancements (+1 tough because magic crown or whatever) but maybe crazy tools could be fun to play with, what do you think?
Not much to add at the moment, other than objects like the Colt and the First Blade have played a big part in the inspirational material. Some playbooks have “supernatural tools” built in to their advancement, but that feels different that powerful “mixed blessing” or limited use artifacts.
I’ve done quite a bit with spell books…
