So I’ve been watching “REVOLUTION” on Netflix and hoping to get some AW ideas. Unfortunately it seems the writers only know 3 MC moves:
1. kidnap their son/daughter/mother/father
2. kidnap their brother/sister
3. make an NPC be secretly working for the other side
They use the same 3 moves over and over again…
The writers need to pay attention to their Agendas.
I would love to see a TV show written through the AW procedures, or even the end result of a campaign.
I could (should) point out many, many MC moves I see in Walking Dead.
I really love the show although I wish they had gone with the sword and musket theme and explored the existing technology level a little more.
The main characters could do with a extra move. Emote Convincingly.
This is basically why we stopped watching, also the PCs only have a few moves. And …. well, and because the show got weird and the girl can’t act.
Apparently the network agrees with us. REVOLUTION has been cancelled.
