Hi guys!
I’m preparing my first run of Masks with a rather small group – only consisting of 2 players and me.
What I need from you, is an advice or experience with handling Influence with so small groups. It seems that the Influence rules are written to bigger groups.
Please help/advice me.
I haven’t much experience of this but the one time it came up I created one or two NPC team members to fill out the group and provide targets for influence. That seemed to work ok.
There was another thread recently where this was discussed. Shouldn’t be too far down. Lots of good advice there.
Be prepared to provide lots of npcs for your players. I’ve tried increasing the group with a “gm-pc” but noticed that I am way to busy trying to keep this pseudo pc in line that I sadly neglect my duties as a gm. So I guess best provide them with a few friends, mentors, … they can count on if the going gets tough and they need support or comfort rather than try to run the game and be part of the team.
