Hey, sorry if I’m missing something obvious, but how is everyone making such professional looking custom skins? Is there an InDesign template or something like that floating around?

I know Patrick Henry Downs uses both Gimp, and natural talent.
Yeah, I’m poor, so InDesign isn’t an option for me. GIMP is a useful (and free) tool for creating background graphics, but the main program I use for playbook construction is Scribus (also free). It’s difficult to use, but you either are patient and get used to it or you create something crappy and give up.
I have a template for use Scribus, I don’t know if it will work for InDesign, but if that’s the program you have then you could try it: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9cu0IVYfHtiTWQzM1VhOHZiMFE/edit
Oh, awesome! Thank you so much! InDesign apparently doesn’t play nice with it, but I totally don’t mind downloading Scribus if it means I get to pretty up my skins. 😀
