The group I play with generally only does four or five session campaigns (we did a one-off with Uncharted Worlds. They loved it and I’m hoping to convince them to do more ;)). Is US suitable for that brief of a campaign?

I have played very good one shots of the game, so short campaign will totally be fine. You will probably notice the play style is a bit different between a long campaign and a short but I don’t think one play style is fundamentally better, just different.
Anne Ratchat Thanks Anne – Adding it to my holiday wishlist 🙂
Yes, although I warn you: the group I’m playing in thought we would play 8 session. I think we’re up to 15 or so by now… The roleplaying has gotten intense and quite fun. The sort of roleplaying that forces you to delve into your characters.
One trick: ask your players to try to tie in their rumors to each other’s rumors and to the story that is already going on. The more the rumors overlap with the story and characters you already have, the tighter the session story will be and the better chance you have of getting more than one player involved in a scene based on that rumor.
You’ll love it.
Christopher Meid This is great! Thanks for taking the time to give a detailed answer. The group I play with (well, most of them) would be into this:)
