Hello I’m new to running the game and one of my players (a hunter) has chosen one of his weapon tags to be enchanted. Is there any specific rules to this tag or any ideas on how it might work? Thanks!

  1. The thing with tags is they are there to help you work out the fiction. If they tagged it “enchanted” then you say things like “the only thing that can harm this being is an enchanted weapon” or “I heard he can twist enchanted weapons to attack their owner” and stuff like that.

  2. The Enchanted option for Hunters actually gives the weapon the Anchored tag (there’s no Enchanted tag unless you make one up; confusing, I know). It’s still up to your table to decide the specifics, but this is how it’s defined in the tags section on 155:

“Anchored (cue): This weapon is mystically anchored to you, such that it returns upon command or cannot be lost.”

So it could be like (or just flatly be) Excalibur, only wieldable by those who are worthy. Or it could be a tattoo of a whip that snakes out into the real world at your command. Or it could be a literal manifestation of your psyche, Soulknife style. Whatever works for your table.
