The Zombie Squad – Death Row Edition is now available in both PDF and Softback from DTRPG. The game is a Sci-Fi action RPG which mixes Firefly with the Dirty Dozen.

The Players are Military prisoners pulled from Death Row and stuck in a penal squadron to do the dirty jobs. The game allows players to create Cyborgs, use Giga-Voodoo (a way to control machines with your mind). get involved in ship combat and discover ancient alien ruins on distant planets.

All Powered by the Apocalypse.

We are currently working on a Science Fiction RPG using the PbtA system.

We are currently working on a Science Fiction RPG using the PbtA system. The game is about ex-military criminals taken from death row and placed in a penal regiment where they are sent on the worse missions in the universe.

Our question to the community is, what would you like to see from a Science Fiction PbtA game, we are at the point where we can change/adapt the rules before we release in January.

We want to hear from you about certain idea’s we are having, are you, for example interested in addons, like dice and game bags etc? is there anything you would like to see in your game, for example giant robots or bizarre space monsters?

We want you the player to decide how you play and what kinds of equipment, guns, monsters etc you get to play with. Also in the Death Row Edition would you like to see Hit Locations, Initiative or point spend Stats or do you think these would break the awesome Apocalypse Engine?

I played a 1 player version with the GM last night, The Death Row edition and it was brilliant.

We are very excited about getting the new version of The Zombie squad out there to you as it seems to be getting bigger and bigger. We have added a new career called the Ronin, Ronins are melee weapon specialists, be they blades or shock sticks, Laser knives or Vibro Knuckles, they are also Martial artists and gain tags like dragon punch and flying kick.

We are also sorting out rules for grafting alien tech to the body and creating a whole new career around that.
