Can the EIC reduce or raise PCs’ bonds if it fits for fiction? (“Hey, you stood her up again…”)

I think Burnout move example (p.64) is in collision with the rule.

I think Burnout move example (p.64) is in collision with the rule.

In the example, EIC says “It is definitely Borderline and just roll 2d6”, But shouldn’t it be “Possible and roll 2d6+Bond”?

And “move faster than the speed of light” is in Cerebus’ Power Profile, not Zip’s.

This is my attempt at “Spider-Man” (Sam Raimi’s version, which is one of my favorite superhero movie.)

Some questions have sprung to mind during character creations:

1. I felt the necessity to make detailed limitation list for my character. Not only for defining the level of limitation,  but also for character’s background and roleplaying.  My question is : Does “Removing one of the limitations on your  powers by spending 3 achievements”(p.123) mean removing one of the limitations which I made for the character? And can I  remove a limitation which is unrelated to my power(hero’s duty, relation with media, etc)?

2. I’m still not clear on defining “possible” level of Power profile. Is it just “Beyond Borderline but not Impossible so you can make the possible effect when you Burnout?”

Does Moderate Condition regard as two conditions(and Critical Condition as three condition) when I count Conditions Threshold of an enemy?

And I found a typo in p.184.  (PDF) “…Here’s an example Heavy Hitter.” It is an example Punching Bag, isn’t it?

I have some questions about condition.

I have some questions about condition.

I have some questions about condition.

1. Can a character aggravate target’s condition without choosing enough “Impose a condition” options if it fit for the fiction?

(“I will open up his wound!” or “I will throw him into the river. He has body of fire, so probably very lethal to him… Do I need to choose 3 condition for give him Critical condition?)

2. If a character get a more serious condition than existing one(broken arm to severed arm, for instance) in the fiction, Does “severed arm” replace “broken arm” or stack up?

As MC, What do you do if your players make a trouble ( and give you a good chance to make a soft/hard move) but rolled 10+?

In one of my session, PCs had beaten a bartender for getting informations (go Aggro) and got a 10. Of course they got information, but the bartender had some friends to take revenge for him, and PCs had to fight with them after some scenes.

My players were discomforted with this result, because they thought they completely overwhelmed the bartender and he couldn’t dare to complain.

What do you think?
