So really only had one thing come with sharing the book among friends and that was use of pronouns. It wasn’t that big of deal but it was more along of lines of why couldn’t they use they or them or their vs needing to make one up. It brought up a good discussion in the end about well dragons would make their own up, but also lead to comments about all the stuff in society. So if nothing else you books as raised a good discussion on reactions of things in society.

Hello fellow drakes

Hello fellow drakes

Hello fellow drakes,

I have a question. I have looked in the book about rules for damage and dying.

I noticed that damage makes the player check the shadow track and once all 4 are marked, then the drake turns into dris shadowself.

I will start playing this game with a group of mature players, and definitively, death of the character can be the worst thing that can happen it can also be extremely interesting to see how it turns out in the fiction, especially if the character is returned through moon magic.

In any case, I have been looking into the rules and I didn’t find anything about dying or damage outside of the shadow track. Can you guys point me in the right direction for these rules?

This is my first time with an Apocalypse World rules game, so I am not sure if I am missing the point on something.

Thanks.

So, what’s the dragon equivalent of “mommy” or “daddy”?

So, what’s the dragon equivalent of “mommy” or “daddy”? The little hatchlings talking about their “parent” in tonight’s game didn’t sound right.

I got to run Epyllion last night, my first PbtA game. It was… awkward. I felt like I was struggling to find the moves I should be making, to shoehorn the players actions into moves. I attribute it to my lack of experience with the system. But I could feel the edges of the shiny gem of a game buried in my incompetence. The game was trying to do something cool, I just couldn’t figure out how to let it.

Fortunately, my players has a good time anyway and want to continue the adventure next week. I have a long list of sections to re-read before then.

Hey everyone, I just found this RPG.

Hey everyone, I just found this RPG. However I’m looking to get a physical copy since if I were to buy the pdf I’m worried it would just get lost in the abyss of a hard drive somewhere. I would love to buy one so I could introduce my daughter (who is just an infant right now) to tabletop RPGs.
