Along with some… ‘Help’ cough I show off one of my favorite RPG boxes – My kit for Magpie Games’ #Epyllion !!

(Please forgive, I’ve been having a rough week, and am glad I had time to participate at all.

(Please forgive, I’ve been having a rough week, and am glad I had time to participate at all. This isn’t my best work, but I’ll try to provide at least one more before the end of the weekend.)

Jalint-Who-Carries-The-Sun is an old Seer, who has fought in several actions to protect the Southern Coast from invasion from sea born abominations, hatched out of Kraken Shells. Jalint has been marked as favored by the Spirit Moon, Aloris, and has returned from beyond marked by it’s favor with a brilliant ball of light that hangs in tall antlers, so that those lost in the Valley can come to Jalint. Caught in another glowing ball that was caught upon leaving in Jalint’s tail is a mysterious voice, that whispers softly, sometimes annoyingly at Jaint.

Who-Carries-The-Sun knows that when it’s time it up, that voice is going to break free, and cause great havok. It hopes to find someone to bestow the orb to before it happens, so that disaster can be delayed a but longer.

I’m somewhat joking with this, but has anybody made a custom move about “When you fly beyond Dragonia’s shores over the Kraken-infested sea“? I feel like the following—while technically a move, and perhaps even setting-appropriate—is not in the spirit of the game. 😛

When you fly beyond Dragonia’s coast over the Kraken-infested sea you become kraken-lunch before anything more interesting happens.

Maybe it would just be the same as the Valley of death move. Or something similar? What about this? Just playing around. I know it is still too dark:

When you fly beyond Dragonia’s coast over the Kraken-infested sea roll +Courage. on a 10+, you make it back alive with a story or trinket that impresses other dragons. On a 7-9, you have an impressive story that is told throughout dragonkind, but you must also choose one:

— your body is no longer fully intact and functional

— your sleep is no longer untroubled by nightmares

— your rationality is no longer fully intact

— you no longer easily trust others and enjoy intimacy

— you no longer have a taste for things you once enjoyed.

On a miss, you fly through the valley of death.

Has anybody run Epyllion via pbp?

Has anybody run Epyllion via pbp? I’ve had great success with other Powered by the Apocalypse games via pbp, so I think it would work well… What do you all think?

Here’s a custom move toward completing #TasksFromTheCouncil . I would love any feedback from drakes in the field who have more experience in Moon Magic than me! #Epyllion

All for One and One for All

The situation is dire and you require the strength of two different Moons or a Moon that you can no longer call upon.

If another dragon agrees to perform this dual call with you, each dragon must return x Gems. Roll +x Gems returned (max 3 Gems).

On a 10+, the Moon magic combines the strengths of one of your accessible Moons and a different Moon accessible to your partner into an extremely powerful spell.

On a 7-9, you are able to control the magic of your Moon toward a desirable but less powerful effect than intended. However, that of your partner slips from your claws and has an unexpected consequence decided by the DM.

On a miss, the Moon magic overwhelms both of you and has an unfavorable consequence.

Bonus: For every additional dragon who returns x Gems to join you and your partner in this spell and who shares either of the two Moons in play, receive +1 toward the Moon magic roll.
