Yesterday we played a halloween special for our monthly campaign at it was really fun and tv like. 🙂

We started with one of our heroes breaking up with his girlfriend with a letter while also taking distance to another girl and a guy who were in love with him. The break up didn’t went well. With bad moods the team went to decorate a haunted house for the night.

We found time acting strangely and the heroes found themselves trapped in a loop outside the mansion with nothing around them. They had filmed footage from that evening they could play out as flashbacks but they ended up watching only one. The players told me that this was because Humbrey had broke up with Jill – which sounded cool – so when they connected a camera to a pole and used that to peer into the nothingness inside the mansion I revealed a run down mansion and Bloody Jill seemingly murdered in. Our Bull Humbrey then went into nothingness using a move.

Our team found themselves back in time few hours and in Jill’s body. There was a moment of hesitation and then one hero used his control to test if Jill also had powers – which might help to understand what was happening. Jill has the power profile of Jubilee so the team ended up blasting themselves unconsious and burning the tent. They woke up in infarmary. Some cool roleplaying ensued where the team managed to tell Miller (the guy who was in love with Humbrey) what was going on and also get the – now arrogant and cruel – their past duplicates to help them. Evil Humbrey took blame on burning Jill’s tent and was taken to bunishment and Evil Alex was lied to help the team.

The Team contacted Betsy – who is the other girl in love with Humbrey – and knows hypnosis and also told what was happening. Some funny stuff happened and then they them used ouji board and mirrors to jump Prime Alex into Evil Alex’s body and after that they went to the haunted house to get Jill.

As it was halloween in game the people now going into hounted mansion were; Alex dressed as Gentleman Tief, Humbrey in Jill’s body dressed as Zombie Cheerleader, Betsy dressed as Red Ridinghood and Miller as Hercules with lion skin. They encountered Emily in Doll uniform who scared them with Ghost construct and also Fiona was with them but as she is a real Ghost – incorporeal an invisible to anyone but Alex – no one knew she was there.

They did another ritual in the murder room, with again Betsy helping with her hypnotic abilities and Emily with her earlier studies about reanimation in Londons schoold of post mortem studies. Theymanaged to open a portal where they saw Jill’s murder going bacwards and that Ms Boobs – their Teacher was the murderer – it seemed to be impossible to prevent – but then Fiona and Alex had tender moment of hughs and there was influenced traded. Fione then went into the time portal (as she could do being dead and all) and went to spook Jill out from the mansion before the murder could happen.

After this the Team found themselves in the morning – Humbrey decided agains breaking up with his girlfriend Jill – breaking Betsys heart instead. The evening happening had changed into the beach instead and there was some moment of gathering of Justice League (the team in the haunted house) and the missing member of Villainous Fearsome Five (as Alex was not Evil enymore).

The end was bitter sweet as Humbrey was having tender moment with Jill, Betsy going away and Miller going to check if she was ok. Alex was having nice chat with Emily who was controlling a burning skeleton she had build and then – as Halloween night close – Fiona got momentarily through the barrier of dead and hugged him and gave a kiss. 🙂

So. Our Deliquent smacked the Clone of Outsider (you could say a Pirate Copy) with a bat and there was blows to be shared. Deliquents Powerful Blow made him to influence Doomed to foolhardy action and to attack the Shadow Manipulator Pirate that was in the middle of parents and school faculty.

This action was stopped by the Linquistic teacher that is also secretly a Telepathic Saurian – who read the thoughts of the Doomed – who at this time is almost suicidal in her thinking.

Now we ended the session and the season when the gang needed to go meet Novas prisoned villain dad and to go and cure Doomeds mothers cancer BUT the Doomed is taken in to mental research hospital for suicide watch – while the Mask took power removing harness as he felt guilty…

The system escalates things really nicely. 🙂
