Adam Goldberg suggested a move about when the Organization interferes, but it didn’t quite sit right with me. He did have a good idea, though, and it inspired me to add the move Loose Cannon for those times when you have to disobey the orders of your superior.
I added a new choice option for the Organization: Scope. Just a quick description of the Organization’s overall juristiction.
Under Powers, I combined the Super-Toughness and Armor options (because really they’re the same thing, just skinned differently) and upped the power selections to 8 by adding Force Field Projection, Ancient Magics, and Technopathy. I know those are from other playbooks, but I think they make sense here based on the inspirational material.

He’s the last military commander of a vast interstellar navy, destroyed in an epic supers battle, and operating under the belief that the Earth’s heroes are to blame. FEAR HIM AND HIS DOGGY FACE.

We played Masks as part of William Coffing’s birthday celebrations – and since we were already making masks (and I had some comic onomatopoeia decorations), we posed for some selfies. A young hero fan photobombs an epic battle! A hero is chagrined to be caught in public for a photo. The Ewok is ready for his close up. And another hero deigns to let his human companion share the same place in the space-time continuum.

My regular group is getting keen to play Masks, and we use Roll20 as the core toolset for everything we play. So using my astonishing powers of outdated half-remembered HTML from computing classes 15 years ago, yesterday I started fudging together a Roll20 Masks character sheet template. It’s based on an existing template for Apocalypse World, and it’ll take some more fiddling to stop it breaking in a coupla places, but it’s getting there. Having playbook-specific fields come up to track things like The Nova’s Burn or a Doomtrack is doable, too, but that stuff’ll take more than one day’s effort.
Also, apparently the people in Halcyon City don’t respect my mighty lineage of Australian authority. 🙁
