Hey everyone

Hey everyone

Hey everyone,

I’ve had this playbook saved to my computer for a while and keep meaning to fine-tune it; it kind of fills the niche of a druid in traditional fantasy games while being more suited to the genre. Haven’t had a chance to see it playtested and I still have a few mixed feelings about some of the features, but here it is for your appraisal: The Earthbound.

(Also, if someone could tell me how to make the comments go away and stay gone that’d be nice ;_; )

I can think of a couple of Mysteries with this as a jumping off point.

Hey there!

Hey there!

Hey there! So, for my monster of the week game i’m running in a little bit I’ve decided to make a new class labeled the mutated.

In which after the effects of radiation, the “hunter”, more survivor in this case, has changed. I’m stumped on personal moves, though? Does anyone have suggestions? I’ve already taken a bit from the monstrous.

A new Mystery for the Road, involving dead friend, church guardians, rain, Maine and violent deaths.

That would be easy to turn into a neat “weird phenomena” mystery for Monster of the Week with Michael’s new rules:

Hey there!

Hey there!

Hey there!

I’ve stumbled across this amazing game while listening to the Adventure Zone Podcast and I’d reaaaaaally love to play it some time. I used to play D’n’D and Shadowrun ages ago – but those experiences always were awkwardly “rule based” instead of “story driven” (which could have been due to mediocre gamemasters like me as well). And while MotW – like all PbtA games, I guess – seems to be different in this regard, its setting also is way more interesting!

My “problem” with MotW though: Stuff like this tends to be less scary (and with a less fluid playing experience) if rulebook, character sheets, campaign materials etc. are not in your native language – as this comes with the risk of an additional layer of interpretation and discussion in the midsts of the game.

So before I start asking around for fellow players: Are there any plans to have this translated into German? I’d also love to see some localized campaigns, maybe with weird German folklore-inspired mysteries like the “Wolpertinger”, the Franconian “Nachtgiger” or a crazy version of “Rübezahl” …

Are there others who feel like me? Is there even the slightest chance to make a fan translation for this game?

Thanks, cheers, and greetings from Germany

Jürgen
