I signed up to be Keeper for MotW at a Local Gaming Convention, running both mysteries from the rule book. I am thinking of reducing the player’s Luck so they feel the danger of using it. Also, having the players go ahead and select from any of the playbooks from the rule book as character creation is pretty easy. Has Anyone else done this? By how much should Luck be reduced? Any other tips/tricks/hints for running MotW at a Con?

I saw some one had posted a link to an online writing tool/idea organizer that looked perfect for my writing style.

I saw some one had posted a link to an online writing tool/idea organizer that looked perfect for my writing style. So I signed up for it. Now I don’t remember what it is called or where the original link was (here or reddit). It looks like what Michael Sands post about his MotW supplement looks like with folders and subfolders. PLEASE, Help me find it.

I FINALLY Ran MotW for the first time Saturday night.

I FINALLY Ran MotW for the first time Saturday night. HUGE SUCCESS! Everyone had a great time. I think I went too easy on the players, though. Has anyone else run the mystery “Damn Dirty Apes” from the rule book? I am still getting used to all the rules and moves.

The hunters had divided the group up to cover more ground and the Professional and the Spellslinger were in the stem tunnels. The first group of robo monkeys (mark 1) came after them. So, the Spell Slinger enchants the professional’s weapon he does harm and since the bullet had the magic tag, disabled a large chunk of the group.

Was that the intent in the weakness or was it supposed to be a different more specific and difficult to figure out kind of thing?

Michael Sands could you weigh in on this?
