So we’ve started a campaign and here are our first session’s results.

Latifah Monroe, an ex wodoo mambo and ex cabaret singer from Louisiana, has sold her soul to Papa Legba for a chance to see her child who had died. Now she delivers messages and trades souls and makes contracts at her service to her lord.

Now, in the 2000s, Papa Legba has an interest in buying well drilling business owners and managers in Basin-city, Olbany (which is most likely to become Little-Rock, Arkanzas), granting them 100% chances of finding rich shale oil deposits (which is actually NOT WHAT IT SEEMS).

The most feasible locations belong to native american society, lead by Watanuki, a cynic businessman, who doesn’t take seriously traditions of his nation and uses it as an easy way to push local authorities to take the best decision for him. As well he owns “Goldwell” casino, really looking designed as a gold mine, using gold nuggets as chips.

The native american community is being favoured by a spirit called Slaiter Horn, living in a giant tree in the middle of the park and is being worshiped by a priest ghost Grey Light, the last keeper of traditions of the community. Slaiter Horn is in fury because the community of native americans has no idea of their own roots and sometimes kills people who get lost in the park. As well he’d be quite quite  happy to catch the were-fox Sinobi hunting in the remains of his forest, that is being covered up by Grey Light.

Sinobi lives in a district next to the park. She is a daughter of Iranian refugees, who ran away from their country during islamic revolution of 79. Her father was a werewolf and worked for the local mafia. Well, until the day he got shot on mission. Mafia and its emissary Don Romero still keeps an eye on his wife and daughter. Mister Romero would like to take control over her district and the park, but always faces a giant fox that collapses his plans. It is annoying enough for him to make a deal with ANYONE in order to catch her.  Sinobi has no idea who are those bullyboys she sometimes has to send packing from time to time.

Magician Vincent lives in the same district with Sinobi. His parents were magicians as well, but his mother got cancer and he has taken his father’s power hoping to cure her. He failed. His father started drinking heavily and left his home. Now he is looking for his son to take his powers back from him and is being helped by mr. Romero in his searches, but Sinobi helps Vincent to keep his location secret.

Would be happy to hear your comments and ideas or any advise (maybe you can advise a better real locaton than Little-Rock?)
