Hey friends, this small Kickstarter includes expansion material for WWWRPG, including off-camera interactions and more detailed support for promos! I’m not involved at all except to say “great, sounds good” so I can’t vouch for the details as yet, but I’m definitely pleased to see the WWWRPG Universe expanding.

Anyway, it’s already funded, and will include material for Blades in the Dark and Monsterhearts along with WWWRPG and any other additional goals she adds. Take a look!

Hey friends, Lucha Underground (Season 1 and 2) have hit (American) Netflix!

I’m still finishing up my long-delayed watch of S1 (I’m on Ultima Lucha now), but if you wanted an example of a kayfabe-heavy show that demonstrates a lot of how WWWRPG looks in play, you could do a lot worse.

If you’re a wrasslin’ purist it may not do much for you but if you haven’t had a chance to see it, I can heartily recommend Season 1 (it really hits its stride as a show from the midpoint on), and I look forward to catching up on Season 2.

Y’all are probably sick of hearing me gab about the game but IN CASE YOU ARE NOT, Richard Rogers hosted me for a nice chat about drop-in/drop-out play and integrating a revolving cast in PbtA, in addition to a fun wrasslin’ match.

I’m thrilled to release the latest episode of +1 Forward, a Podcast Powered by the Apocalypse. This episode I wrassle Nathan Paoletta onto the show to gab about World Wide Wrestling RPG. Even if you’ve played WWW RPG before, the opening section about drop in / drop out play and listening to how Nathan runs WWW is worth a listen!

If you’re in the NYC area and able to get to Brooklyn, the 20 Sided Store is running a four-week season of WWWRPG in March!

Wrestling + Social Good Related – you can pick up this shirt I designed, sport an Against Me-inspired wrestling poem, and contribute to the Trans Lifeline all at the same time!

My good friend Ed, who runs a wrestling zine distro, reached out to me to help him put together a fundraiser he’s doing. So I designed this shirt for him. All sales of this shirt (and zine profits this month) will go to the Trans Lifeline.

The words (lyrics?) are an interpretation of an Against Me! song (more details on the order page). I’m proud to be a part of this effort!

if you don’t want a shirt, maybe consider donating to the Trans Lifeline directly? https://www.translifeline.org/donate

thanks!

I haven’t been watching much wrestling since, well, the release of WWW:II really. It was really refreshing to enjoy a show and yell at the TV.

Admissions: we did skip the ROH title match and kinda snark on the various tag gauntlets, but my boy EVIL had a strong showing at least! And then starting with the KUSHIDA/Takahashi through to the end, I felt like every match topped the last while being it’s own standalone thing.

And Omega/Okada was brutal, just brutal.

Anyway. If you have a chance, check out the show! It’s worth it!

Hey friends!

Hey friends!

Hey friends! This is the closest I’ve come so far to putting together a fantasy version of WWWRPG, with no backstage/booking/meta elements.

It also helped me work out some ideas that found their eventual home in WWW:II.

Anyway. Its a standalone holiday pro wrestling game for $4, take a look if that interests you!

It’s time for this years New Years Fray! Revised and polished up from last years Epimas release, this $4 PDF is a standalone RPG of pro wrestling for the holidays.

Includes 6 pre-generated Champions of Cheer (with portraits by Eric Quigley ) and all the rules for playing out the tournament to crown this years new Holiday Spirit and determine which kind of cheer, Selfish or Sociable, will dominate for the coming year.

This game treats wrestling “straight” with no behind-the-scenes booking, and could be easily played in a gladiatorial combat or side-scrolling fighting game style if you want to bring it out of the squared circle.

Putting this together puts a smile on my face and I hope brings a little bit of cheer to your table this holiday season.
