Crazy idea I will likely never have the right group for: an Urban Shadows campaign, set in Japanese-occupied Shanghai. When your city is already a mix of Nazi spies, Imperial marines, White Russian mobsters, and wealthy vicehounds on vacation in the Paris of the Orient, the vampires and werewolves don’t seem nearly as monstrous. Espionage and crime meet Taoist immortals and reincarnated dragons in the neon-lit alleyways.
