Just wondering but has anybody here ordered the Apocalypse World rpg book from NightSky’s website and received a copy of the book?
I ordered it two weeks ago and have not received any message regarding the book being shipped and I have sent emails to the website and Mr. Baker and I have not gotten any response and I am getting a bit upset about it.
I really didn’t know where to bring this up. If this is the wrong place I apologize. I just think if the book is OOP than the website shouldn’t take money for it.
I did the same, ordering back in late August and have not received mine either. Sent an email today, but no response yet. But I’m not too worried yet — I know they were out of town for at least a bit of that time and so I expect there might be some shipping delays for a few weeks.
Of course, if the book really is OOP, then I want my money back ASAP.
Well, I know both of the Bakers are teachers and they’re also parents, not only is this a really busy time of year for teachers but then add the responsibility of being parents. As I’ve followed this community since it started and read all of the archived forums at Barf Forth Apocalyptica it seems that people are always wondering if the book is out of print or don’t receive responses to emails in a timely manner during September and October. My advice: be patient.
I’ll be patient for a while still. I did get the pdf of the book the day after I ordered it and it’s okay to read the pdf… I am just more of a physical book person because I don’t really like reading books on my laptop. 🙂
Hi folks. Sean is right, we were away for the first half of August. Patrick is also right, September is hectic for us. We do our own fulfillment to keep costs down, but that also means sometimes life happens. Sorry for the delay! All domestic copies ordered as of Friday have shipped, internationals go out today.
