Here are the revisions on my conversion of the Space Between based on comments that I received from my original version. Next up is going to be conversion of the Bleak Prospect scenario from the same book.

  1. Looks good.

I’d remove the references to hard and soft moves in the emptiness countdown – those are really distinctions for the Keeper only, and I’m not sure how I’d apply them here.

Note that “-1 to all Cool rolls” is the same as “lose 1 Cool” and the latter might be easier to remember, or alternatively you could say “-1 to Act Under Pressure”. I wonder, however, if it might make sense for the hunter to grow more cool but lose affect? So each step has “gain 1 Cool, lose 1 Charm or Sharp” or something like that. Depends if the process turns you into an out of control rage monster or creepy uncanny stalker I guess.

  2. I put the references to hard and soft moves in mostly on the off chance that someone else wanted to use this so that they would have an idea of what I was thinking.

I hadn’t thought about changing the attributes like that, but I definitely see gain 1 Cool and loose 1 Charm being an improvement. I do see them becoming more creepy uncanny stalker. Kind of like they are falling into the “Uncanny Valley”.
