Players: “Ugh, I keep taking corruption! This sucks!”

Me: “It’s OK. Take another corruption.”

Players: “Ugh, I have five corruption! This sucks!”

Players: reading corruption moves

Players: “I can possess people? I can have a gang of demons? This is AWESOME!”

  1. I do have to say that Corruption is so fun that it’s maybe a conflict of interest, insofar as the debt economy goes up in smoke once you decide to ignore them (to gain corruption). Also the Corruption-earning intimacy moves are universally douche-y.

    I’m not sure yet! But I suspect it’s possible.

  2. Paul Beakley – I think players choose different paths for different characters. My experience with it is that their character survival instincts kick in when they start marking their 3rd or 4th corruption advance.
