Thinking about possible Jump Points. Some one-liners to start with:
* The characters are surrounded by a room full of people with guns
* A smuggling deal is ambushed
* The characters are in the middle of a bar-room brawl
* The crew are defending a facility from a determined attacker
* The characters are breaking someone out of a cell
* The characters are capturing / kidnapping someone
* The ship is under attack
* Zero-G salvage of a wrecked ship is interrupted
* The ship has responded to a distress call
* The crew discovers a stowaway on board
* Someone has hijacked the ship and locked the crew out of the bridge
* The ship has had a critical breakdown and is heading for danger
> Zero-G salvage of a wrecked ship is interrupted
How about starting with the G itself interrupted 🙂
Suddenly I’ve remembered that I really need to get my players into a bar-room brawl. It’d be good for them.
I haven’t actually had much opportunity to use “jump points” lately since we seem to be in a long multi-session flow. The most recent two sessions both ended in cliffhangers.
Larp Wellington , when is your next session? And would you be willing to playtest a Jump Point I’m writing?
Our next session won’t be until the 12th (or the 19th if that falls through). I’d actually decided to go with continuing story rather than a jump point, since I really want to see what happens with the Cadmium :). But I can fit it in at the next opportunity, or use it for the Kapcon session on the 23rd or 24th.
Will you need an NDA or anything?
