I was wondering , is there a rule that covers the epic fail in a big moment?

I know there are mythic moments which are kind of the opposite, something amazing just happens, but what about that “Shock Master Moment” when every thing comes off the rails and people talk about it for years?

Last night I had a player roll double 1’s on a promo, while he had 0 momentum.

I mean it went very badly for him.

  1. I think you can use the fiction to “enforce” particularly bad rolls without building specific mechanical structures (failure already sucks, I don’t want to incentivize it more, you know?). Use the botch as a reference point for interactions, like management pulling their merch or relegating them to a valet role or something like that “until they can prove themselves” or get back into good graces somehow, that kind of thing. You can reference it and make it part of the promotions story using your general Creative power to frame segments and play NPWs.

  2. I plan on booking him badly coming up as a result of his gimmick falling flat with the fans.. His rolls have been atrocious every time he promos or works the crowd.

    But.

His  wrestle move rolls have all been stellar.

    he’s basically becoming Lance Storm.
