On the Fae Archetype sheet and on p.

On the Fae Archetype sheet and on p. 137 character description, the Advance* says “Join or lead a faerie court” but on P. 167 under Group Advancements it says “Gain a faerie court.”

I’m assuming P. 167 is correct, because the default assumption is the Fae is already in the court of their Monarch, correct? So the advancement is to gain a kind of sub-court, and the fealty to the Monarch is unaffected.

*Is there a term for the “After 5 Advances” advances? Advanced Advances?

  1. So sorry for the delay! Yes, p167 is correct. The default assumption is that you’re already part of a court, so you have to gain a new one. 😀

(We usually just say advancements, but we call out “group advancements” for the moves that get you groups.)
