Been fantasizing about playing in a game of AW 2nd ed. with a core group of Savvyhead, The News, and a Hocus as a team that runs a radio ministry. If there are more players a number of other playbooks would be appropriate as part of the ministry or just near it. You might need a Skinner.
A Skinner would be great. A maestro’D would work, as could a waterbearer. Driver if the Hocus also does in-person sermons in various towns. Various violent playbooks could be “knights of the faith.” Etc. I think the other playbooks would have a huge impact on the flavor of the game.
The Radio might be a good playbook. 🙂
I’m in Portland but just finished another AW campaign recently or I’d be down. Cool concept.
I like the Radio a lot but not sure I Think it really fits since that one is more about remote viewing and being a doom prophet… I guess that second part could work but the Hocus and The News can fit that role as well.
