What’s Magpie’s attitude about hacks? AW officially has no license, but Vincent is excited about people hacking the game. DW is CC — but I’ve not found, at least, some semi-official position about Urban Shadows.
I ask because I’m thinking of adapting the game into some sort of MUX/MUSH, which would probably involve some hacks to playbooks and moves to work right in a place where there are co-MCs or just self-directed play.
We’re going to have an official position on hacks, modifications, etc, later this year (post-Dark Streets). In general, we’re fine with most fan/nonprofit projects. 😀
“PbtA MUX/MUSH” is totally something I’ve mulled around, but I don’t have anything near the experience needed to put it together. Super-cool!
