So, what’s the difference between cybernetic enhancements and cyber mods? The mods preview document says, “A character cannot support more than 3 Mods” but one of the Augmented’s optional skills “Your body can support up to three simultaneous cybernetic Assets.” Also, how do starting characters get mods (or assets)? Do they count as being among the standard starting equipment options?

  1. That’s a bit of an old test version. The new one is “a character can only support a single Mod.”

Basically, general feedback from playtests was that a single Mod is a defining characteristic, but a base limit of 3 Mods for everyone becomes too much.

“Better” grants 3 Mods that do not count towards the Mod cap, if you really want a cyborg

  2. Is better an origin? Also, Sean Gomes are the links to the Dropbox missing from the G+ community? I can’t see them anymore. But I’m on my phone so who knows if it was just an app update.
