I am trying it out on the paizo forums, admittedly, you would have to contend with newbies, more like than not, but the thing has a good dice roller, and I’ve had success so far.
I’m half-tempted to create some sort of Monsterhearts MU-hybrid thing, frankly, but I’m not sure if I am ready to leap into it with both feet.
Tavern Keeper?
Oh that’s exactly the sort of thing I am looking for — the play by post world isn’t my world, really, and I had no idea where to start. Thank you, Aaron Griffin.
I started a PbP game on rpol.net – it’s a site for running PbP games. It was my first time running one and was honestly a bit of a struggle at first. There’s a learning curve to the site. Other people have suggested a simple Google Doc that everyone has access to.
Yeah, I’ve done some stuff with friends on Google Docs before, which work just fine, I think. Mostly it’s ‘how do you find people and organize with them’?
Setup the game and post to this community. You might get some bites.
I might be interested in some monsterhearts PbP myself. Not entirely sure yet.

tavern keeper works, and it has a nice, if somewhat sluggish community. it works as well as most.
RPG Geek is quite good for such things.

Looks like we are going to be set in a small town high school with some class division, probably with characters as high school juniors. I’d love to have a couple more PCs if folks are interested — my plan is to try to run the game with reasonably often posting. So check it out!
