I’ve just discovered Masks through another PbtA game. As a long-time superhero RPG fan, not to mention of shows like Young Justice and comics like The Uniques, I picked up the PDF right away and am excited to get a chance to check the book out.
I sadly missed the opportunity to pitch in on the Kickstarter, so I was curious. Is there any chance to pick up a hardcopy of the game anywhere? Electronic devices are frowned on where I work and I’d love to have something to read during lunch, not to mention I’m one of those old fogies who still likes the feeling of paper between his fingers. 🙂
The book hasn’t gone to print, so even backers still don’t have any hard copies yet. I don’t know Magpie’s plans for future print runs.

The other PBTA things from Magpie have eventually landed in print, I think this one might be a challenge because the comic art is a little more central to the experience than the B/W art in Urban Shadows. Another argument for the elimination of all art in gaming books! Bah gawd, will I never tire of being right?!?
We will have print copies for sale in December. Books will be shipping to backers first, of course.
That’s good news. I’d probably start seriously looking for a game after Christmas anyway, so the timing works well. Thanks!
