Cool Starter! Inuit mythology is chock full of awesomeness to base these types of stories around. Fun fact: The H.M.S Terror(one of Franklin’s ships) was found in Terror bay.
So you got me thinking of an 1800s polar exploration MotW game and I was looking up info on Inuit beliefs and found this quote on wikipedia.
Knud Rasmussen asked his guide and friend Aua, an angakkuq (spiritual healer), about Inuit religious beliefs among the Iglulingmiut (people of Igloolik) and was told: “We don’t believe. We fear.”
Michael Kennedy Cool. The Inuit have a fascinating mythic view of the world. I think a 1800 arc could work very well.
Jeremy Scott I read about this and want to use it. Aquatic zombies?
Yeah, I’ve got my eye on Alas for the Awful Ocean to do some northwest passage era adventures. I also have a half baked mystery for MotW. Involving an Inuit shape changer and Ithaqua(perhaps I’ve already said too much….)
