A quick question about Condition Thresholds for the bad guys.

A quick question about Condition Thresholds for the bad guys. If I have a villain who has 1 Condition Threshold/player (so like 4), do Mild Conditions take up one slot there, Moderates take up two slots, and Critical Conditions take up 3? So this Villain could take up to 4 mild conditions or 1 Critical and one mild? Or two moderate?

Is this how things work?

  1. Nope. Each condition takes 1 slot, no matter the severity. The severity of the condition lets you describe further and it is stickier, but they all count as 1 condition.

  2. You cannot break their power gem with a mild condition. With a critical for sure you can.

I mild condition can “stun” the villain for a moment, a severe condition can hurt him for real.

A mild condition will get wiped off easily, a severe will last longer and a critical may stay with the villian for the rest of her life.

  3. Minor conditions are just as easy for bad guys to clear by taking an appropriate action as they are for PCs. If the villain is always taking the time to clear those minor conditions, a 4 condition threshold could end up being 16 conditions before he finally goes down.

  4. ok guys. First: ¨destroy the gem of power¨ for this you must spend points in the option take a advantage from they. Second: What diferrence does choose a moderate or critical condition?
