  1. Nah, I’d say Molly is the Bull, and the “Lover” and Rival are the folks in the group she clings to and give shit to, who change throughout the series. Beacon makes sense for Gertrude.

  2. I’d argue Gert as the Innocent, she was always wrangling with who she’d eventually become and she got to see more than one version of herself. Yea I know she doesn’t really have the whole backstory but, time was an element in her arc and time is a major factor in the Innocent’s playbook.

  3. Molly – Bull (Super strong, likes to act tough but is very emotionally driven)

Nico – Nova (Can literally do anything but raise the dead, at least once)

Karolina – Outsider (In a weird reverse way where she is new to the alien society rather than Earth’s) OR Transformed (Her perception of herself was changed, even if she technically wasn’t)

Chase – Delinquent (Loves the attention)

Alex – Protege (Super genius just like his dad, and just wants to make him proud but doesn’t want to become him at the same time)

Victor – Transformed (Same as Karolina) OR Innocent (Since his biggest motivation is avoiding becoming Victorious)

Xavin – Outsider OR possibly The Soldier, though without a lot of details on Soldier it’s hard to say.

And Gert….Well she’s definitely a Beacon, just with a bit of a twist in the personality of it all, in that she isn’t super duper excited to be hanging out with superheroes. But with little to no powers and an animal companion, Beacon is by far the best choice for her.

A bunch of The Runaways are actually listed as examples of certain playbooks in the core book, and Gert is listed as a Beacon.
