Hi I’m curious on the fixer’s “I know people” move. Does the player have to “roll hit the street” following that move? It came up in my session the other night. Wasn’t sure. It feels like there’s already a roll involved so I made the call that the move doesn’t need the additional hit the street roll. But I am now curious because I could see a case for needing the second roll.

From memory (which I will check later), it substitutes for declare a contact, but you still need to hit the street. Although depending on the fiction you establish, maybe it could be skipped.
